A Statement by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Provides a statement in response to the study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine . CDC Public Health Preparedness Conference 2005
The CDC Public Health Preparedness Conference 2005, “Building State and Local Preparedness: A Strong Foundation for National Response” will convene approximately 500 public health professionals implementing CDC's Cooperative Agreement 99051, Preparedness and Response to Bioterrorism. This conference will provide a forum for public health leaders and technical experts to share promising practices and learn practical approaches to developing and enhancing public health plans, infrastructure, and systems in preparation for and in response to bioterrorism, emerging infections, and other public health emergencies.
